So we've got some new residents at our workshop! A

So we've got some new residents at our workshop! A family of blue tits have nested in our wall mounted ash-tray...the poor things!! So I made them a little roof to protect them from the rain, and have added a small feeder full of live mini mealworms to make their stay a little bit better!

The eggs hatched a few days ago and the parents are busy to-ing and Fro-ing with caterpillars! Did you know that baby blue tits each need up to 100 caterpillars every single day to grow properly? There's easily 10 in this nest...!! So that's up to 1000 caterpillars a day these busy parents have to find!! 😵 They must be knackered....!!!
